Coby estimates eight days to Hawaii.

lat27 25N, lon145 01.6W sails slatting, zephyrs toying, maybe wind soon.
Being the adventures of Coby (single handing) and his 20' Pacific Sea Craft Flicka, as they brave the Pacific Ocean. Texted and dictated by satellite phone to his wife, Katja.
If there's a way to communicate (inexpensively), He needs to sail due south for approx. 180 miles. There he will, in about 36 hours, find an Easterly breeze at about 8-10 knots. This will be the beginning of his joyous romp in the tradewinds. This information is from the GRIB1 filed by NOAA. Then he can head straight West to Hawaii. Longer miles, but shorter time because of speed. Consistent Wind and Speed will settle the boat down so he can drink heavily...oops, did I say that...

Let me know if there's a way to get this to him or if I can help. His 8 days may turn into 6 or 7 with wind. His current location is showing less than 3 knots of wind...gotta go south...

Thanks Jeff. Texted abbreviated version.

Now if he can get enough wind to get down there...
